Most grinding operations are today quicker and more reliable done by the wet belt grinding process.
The belt grinding enables quick combinations of rough stock removal grinding and fine finishing with quickly to change abrasive belts. The Belts can be changed in less than one minute to suit the grinding requirements. This is a major time advantage compared to the hassle of changing grinding stones.
The finishing is recommended wet with coolant or dry with the use of a dust extractor.
Specially by usong coolant the risk for fire and the risk of harmful smoke can be eliminated. Loeser systems meet highest safety and enviroment standards.
For finishing the side of rubber rolls and for special concave or convex shapes of a roll we use 70 mm wide stones.
